AODA Evaluations
An Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse evaluation consists of an assessment of client chemical use and a referral to the appropriate level of care and program.

OWI Assessments
An Operating While Intoxicated (OWI) assessment consists of court ordered and Motor Vehicle Department referrals, along with assessment of client chemical use, program needs, and development of a Driver Safety Plan.

Individual, Couples’ and Family Counseling Sessions
Sessions are an average of one time per week with an individual treatment plan developed to assist client needs and recommendations. The length is to be determined by client need and clinician judgment. The sessions can also be developed for clients who are unable to attend an evening program. Counseling and family sessions are available to assist couples with AODA issues and its affect on their relationship.
- Primary Outpatient Program (POP)
This intensive outpatient treatment program consists of 48 group sessions and a minimum of four individual sessions. The group meets on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM for a total of sixteen weeks. This is an open-ended group, meaning clients can join the group at any time. The Matrix Model is used as the treatment modality.
- Continued Care Group
This is a 16 week program scheduled on Mondays evenings from 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM to provide clients with ongoing assistance with their recovery. This is an open-ended group, meaning clients can join the group at any time. The Matrix Model is used as the treatment modality.
- Day Treatment
The Day Treatment program is a primary intensive outpatient treatment program. Clients attend the residential treatment programming Monday – Friday from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM for a total of three weeks. This program is designed to help clients who may have obligations to work and/or family in the evening hours. Programming follows an evidence-based treatment Matrix Model. Coping skills and independent living skills are addressed with each client. A strong continued care plan is also developed for each client. Treatment consists of group work, individual counseling sessions, family programming, and couples’ counseling when appropriate.
- Drug Screening
Drug screens are available to assist with client care. Rapid onsite urinalysis screenings, as well as offsite laboratory analysis services are available. Programming is to ensure and enforce abstinence while in treatment.
- Victim Impact Panel (VIP)
This one-hour panel presentation is presented by victims sharing their stories of loved ones lost to accidents involving alcohol. Also, an offender shares his or her story and the effect it has had on their life. The focus of VIP is to impact the drunk driver offender on an emotional level in order to assist the client in taking responsibility for his or her own behavior.
- Intoxicated Driver Intensive Supervision Program (ISP)
The Intoxicated Driver Program is a monitoring program designed for clients with 2 or more OWI offenses. Clients are given the opportunity to change their behavior related to alcohol/drug use, while gaining education related to impaired driving. Client complete several contacts per week including 15 minutes checks ins, breathalyzers, urine analysis, and individual sessions. The overall goal of the program is to reduce the likelihood of future offenses and to provide clients with an increased awareness of the seriousness of impaired driving.
- Families in Needs of Education & Support (FINES)
The FINES program is an educational program focused on helping families who are struggling with chronic chemically dependent or dysfunctional family members. These families may be interested in obtaining a Chapter 51 from Dunn County Human Services; before the county will pursue the Chapter 51, it will be mandatory for the family to complete the FINES program. Families who are not pursuing a Chapter 51 may also be referred to the FINES program.
- Alcohol and Drug Awareness Program II
This program is for youth who have received more than one underage drinking ticket in their lifetime. Other referral sources are accepted. Youth first complete an hour and a half chemical dependency evaluation with a counselor. Individual education or treatment recommendations are then given. Cost to complete the 1 ½ hour evaluation is $100.
- Dunn County Diversion Court
Arbor Place, Inc. employs the position of the Dunn County Diversion Court Coordinator. This coordinator assists in the overall functioning and individual case management of the Diversion Court clients. Each client voluntarily enters Diversion Court through their sentencing process once they have been convicted of a crime. Individual treatment/service plans are then developed and Diversion Court requirements are imposed. Clients are in the program for an average of 18 months.
