Adults requiring intensive treatment services are provided with a structured setting to promote recovery. Research-based treatment modalitites are implemented throughout the different levels of treatment. Such levels include:
- 21 Day Medically Monitored Inpatient Treatment
The 21 day program is a primary inpatient treatment program, which utilizes the Matrix Model approach. Relapse prevention, anger management, self-esteem, daily living skills, triggers/craving identification, and community resources are addressed with each client. Steps 1-3 are also discussed. A strong continued care plan is also developed for each client. Treatment consists of group work, individual counseling sessions, family programming, and couples’ counseling when appropriate.
- 10 Day Relapse Prevention Medically Monitored Inpatient Treatment
The focus of programming is to provide clients with relapse prevention skills in order to ensure ongoing recovery. The programming is based on the Matrix Model of treatment. Time is spent with each client to identify personal warning signs of relapse and appropriate coping skills. Treatment consists of group work, individual counseling sessions, family programming, and couples’ counseling when appropriate.
- Transitional Residential Treatment
Transitional programming is to assist the client into being a successful and healthy member of the community. The treatment utilizes the Matrix Model of treatment and involves addressing issues of employment, independent living, daily living skills, and/or education. Clients are given time to search for each area of need (employment, housing, etc), while still engaged in the residential treatment programming.
- Phase I Transitional Program
Phase I programming enables the client to recover physically, emotionally, and cognitively prior to engaging in treatment. The amount of time depends on client need, clinician and referral judgment. The client has the option to participate in treatment programming if appropriate and will have daily staff interaction. The goal of this program is to allow the client to become better prepared to positively respond to treatment. Upon completion, clients can transfer to the appropriate level of care.
- Families in Recovery Program
The Families in Recovery Program is a six part series that is held every Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. The purpose of the program is to educate chemically dependent clients and their families about the disease of chemical dependency. The program follows the Matrix Model of treatment. Session topics include: co-dependency, roadmap to recovery, communication, families in recovery, living with an addiction, and triggers/cravings. An individual or the family may start the program at any point and continue until all sessions have been attended.
